To talk about quantity
(not) much, (a) little, a bit of, a (large/small) amount of +
uncountable noun
a lots of, lots of, plenty of, loads of, (a) lack of, (almost) no, (not/hardly) any, some, enough +
plural countable or uncountable noun
(not) many, (a) few, a (small/large) number of, several +
plural countable noun
Positive attitude
A little (for uncountable nouns)
The speaker may not have much but he has enough.
A few (for countable nouns)
Negative attitude
Little (for uncountable nouns)
Indicate a total lack of the noun or only a small number.
Few (for countable nouns)
Large Quantities
Uncountable nouns:
A large amount of, an enormous amount of
Plural countable and uncountable nouns:
Some, a lot of, lots of, plenty of, loads of
Plural countable nouns:
a large number of, a huge number of
Small quantities
Uncountable nouns:
(not) much, (a) little, a bit of, a small amount of

Other aspects
We don't usually use much in affirmative sentences
Several
usually means 3 or more things or people
We can use
a large amount, enough, plenty, several, not much, not many
whitout nouns when the meaning is clear
Use of enough
It says that we have the correct or sufficient quantity
We use not enough to say we have less than we want or need
