Longboard
Small
compact - Easy to store
lightweight - easy to carry when not in use.
Practical - Useful to get around on in a city
Disadvantages
Requires skill to ride the board so would require practice to be able to ride.
The Board Needs to be formed into a certain shape which is difficult to do into wood.
Sub Idea - Electric Longboard
Easier to Use for beginners as they just have to learn to balance on the board
However, It can be very expensive to make as batteries and motors needs to be sourced.
Materials/ Components
MDF Board or Laminates, Laminates are easier to form into shape whereas a board would need to be steam bended.
Wheels and Trucks for the bottom of the board to be ridden on.
Bike
Most People know how to ride a bike.
Can Be used on rough surfaces not just on roads.
Practical - In built up areas in city's there are lots of places to store a bike.
Disadvantages
Complex to make as there are lots of Intricate parts.
The cost of making the bike is would be very expensive as the materials needed, need to be strong therefore would be very expensive.
Materials/ Components
Metal like Aluminium for the frame as it light weight.
Gears and Chains will have to be bought as they are complex to make.
Scooter
Very easy to ride
Compact - can be folded at the base of the handle so can be easily stored.
Lightweight
Disadvantages
Usually made of Metal so it is strong in enough to stand on.
Limited carrying capacity - It is made of metal which is heavy to carry and no obvious place to hold it.
Sub Idea - Electric scooter
Electric scooters can be fun to ride and you don't need any experience to ride them.
Much like electric longboards they are very expensive to make as batteries and motors are difficult to source on a small budget.

Plastic for smaller parts like the brakes and the wheels
