THE OPPOSING VIEW
Politicians were voicing their concerns without being bought out and the media was simply reporting what they were saying
CBS corrected itself by saying information surfaced after the airing and by pulling its story from air
CBS trusts its reporters and used every piece of information available to them at the time (Not necessarily every piece of information available to everyone, just them)

MY OPINION
The media should have simplified the information for better public consumption because the information as is caused confusion to the public, government, and other sources
CBS should have toned down its partisanship and used more trusted sources so the information would be more credible
CBS should have used more information to guarantee higher accuracy in its reporting rather than using what they had
CBS shouldn't have received the brunt of the blow because it was many sources such as the government, Post, and others faults as well. CBS was used as a scapegoat by people looking to pin the blame on someone
