Ecuador is an intercultural country where people with different customs coexist, although these differences should not be the cause of a social conflict but rather could become interactions to learn from others and together to build that Ecuador of good living that we all dream of and thus contribute.
How did interculturality emerge in Ecuador?
We have already mentioned that calls for the construction of interculturality have come from indigenous peoples. For this reason, thanks to their struggle, Ecuador has the merit of having created a special system of "bilingual intercultural" indigenous education. This is a serious step that we should appreciate.
