Name of the environmental problem you chose from the text:
Deforestation

2-Many animals and plants will go extinct because they won't have a place to live.
Description of the problem:
Deforestation is when a forest is cut down completely to make room for something else in its place. Forests help to control global warming because they absorb carbon dioxide, but the trees are cut down for wood or burned to clear the land for farming. If the forests are cut, the soil is washed away in the tropical rains, so that the area may turn to a desert. Many plants and animals that live there could become extinct.
Solutions:
Demand laws so that these forests are conserved.
Not using a lot of paper to force production companies not to need as much raw material. Also, recycle paper.
