Have some goods habits
• Do not eat junk food. It contains many food additives and has very little nutritional benefits for your body.

• Learn about the health problems that tobacco, alcohol, and drugs can cause and tell your friends. Being healthy makes you feel great!

• Get 10 hours of sleep a night. During sleep, your body's systems repair themselves.

• Organize your free time. Make a list of the things you enjoy and do them! Watching TV can be fun, but be sure to keep your mind and body active. Go for a walk with your friends, read a book or play outside.

Fit and Healthy
Eat healthy: foods Eat a variety of foods, but avoid sugary foods and drinks. Drink lots of water to keep your body working properly. Eat three balanced meals and two healthy snacks every day.

Say no!: Alcohol is a chemical (a drug) that can affect the way your brain and body develop and grow. It can damage your stomach and liver. If someone offers you an alcoholic drink, just say no.

Keep clean: It is important to stay clean. It helps you stay healthy and feel good about yourself. Wash your hands before eating and after using the bathroom. Brush your teeth after every meal. Keep your hair and clothes clean too.

Sleep well: Your body needs sleep to stay healthy and grow. An 11-year-old should get about 10 hours of sleep each night. When you don't get enough sleep, you feel tired and can't think clearly.

Visit the doctor: A medical check-up is important to make sure your body is working properly. Your doctor can monitor your weight, your hearing, and your stomach. They can give you shots to protect you from diseases like tetanus.

Exercise: Exercise regularly to strengthen your heart and muscles. Avoid spending too much time in front of the screen. It can be very harmful to your body. It can cause eye strain or trouble sleeping.
