King Lear

King Lear gives his kingdom to the two daughters who flatter him and banishes the third one who loves him. His two daughters both then reject him at their homes, so Lear goes mad.

It’s a comedy about a act of betrayal, ill treatment, the development of magic arts and a plot of revenge. Twelve years ago, Prospero was Duke of Milan. Something happened and he leaved the management of his state to his brother Antonio.

Three witches tell the Scottish general Macbeth that he will be King of Scotland. Macbeth kills the king and becomes the new king, he kills more people out of paranoia.

My opinion

Shakespeare’s works are very good I only have read Romeo and Juliet and Anthony and Cleopatra, they are both very good and very dramatic

Last summer I started reading A midsummers night dreams but I lost the book and now that I’m going to the USA I’m buying it again :)
