        In this talk 2 techniques that if applied will dramatically increase the effectiveness of our teaching. Interested? Sound good?

        Talks - select your key scriptures carefully, and take time to read, explain, illustrate, and apply them well.

        When a talk is based on an outline provided by the organization, study the outline and the scriptures it uses. Try to understand the connection between the statements in the outline and the cited scriptures.
        Mindset to prepartion. Not read sentence, verse bests fit in, use the verse to support what we say.
        Use selected scriptures to teach the points in the outline.
        Bible is the foundation.

        Treasure. Often our audience know the scriptures. They are students. The gem that they can take home is the answer to so what? I know the verse. How does it apply to me? What can I do with what I have just read.
