-
- Study design : The researcher chooses an experiment or non experimental research design in quantitative research.
- Participants : The researcher selects a large number of participants that are representation of a group in quantitative research.
-
- Instrumentation : The researcher gather numeric data using instruments quantitative research.
- Data analysis : Statistic can be descriptive or inferential which is summarize data whereas inferential statistics are used to identify statistically significant difference between group of data. Statistical help to turn quantitative data into useful information. Statistic can be used to summarize data, describing pattern, relationship and connection.
- Result : The researcher reports results about participants characteristic, the instruments performance and the study research question in quantitative research.
- Discussion : The researcher compares results to predictions and past studies quantitative research.
- Limitation of Study: - Variability of Data Quantity : large sample sizes are need for more accurate analysis. Small scale quantitative studies may be less reliable because of the low quantity of data, confirmation data bias and the research might miss observing phenomena because of focus on theory or hypothesis.
