ICTs reduce the economic impacts of physical distances and the costs of access to information and, therefore, increase the power of consumers, generating greater competition in the markets. The massive dissemination and free availability of information and knowledge have generated "pressures" that are felt in business actions: shortening of the life cycle of products, urgent need to reduce costs, innovation and permanent creation of new knowledge, products and services .
