Sixth Amendment
Rights of accused individuals: right to a speedy and public trial, right to call witnesses, and right to a legal counsel.
First Amendment
:
Freedom of religion, speech, press, assembly, and petition.
Second Amendment:
Right to keep and bear arms
in order to
maintain a well regulated militia
; to maintain the security of a free State.
Eighth Amendment:
Freedom from excessive bail, cruel and unusual punishments.
Third Amendment:
No quartering of soldiers
Fourth Amendment
Freedom from unreasonable searches and seizures: Protection against issuing warrants without probable cause.
Fifth Amendment
Right to due process of law, freedom from self-incrimination, double jeopardy.
Seventh Amendment
Right of trial by jury.
Ninth Amendment:
Rights granted in the Constitution shall not infringe on other rights.
Tenth Amendment:
Powers that are not granted to the Federal Government in the Constitution belong to the states or the people. Elections, Issuing licenses, etc.
