I t can only be meaningfully employed when qualitative methods haven shown that a simplification of identified relations is possible.
Methods, if explained in detail are generally very easy to replicate so have a high reliability.

Can be misleading.
Quantitative research sometimes creates unnatural environments.
Difficulty in establishing a research model.
False focus on the numbers.
The approval or disapproval of a hypothesis can be affected due to subjectivity of the researcher who already has the intent of approving or disapproving that hypothesis.
