The Red Thread of Fate is an East Asian belief originating from Chinese mythology. It is commonly thought of as an invisible red string around the finger of those that are destined to meet one another in a certain situation as they are "soulmates".
Task
The St Eugene Film Competition calls for students to submit 1-3 minute films that responds to the theme: Connection: a link, a bond, a relationship.
People form connections everywhere – to other individuals, to communities, to countries, to nature. We attach meanings to objects. We connect ideas. We link letters to form words and make sense of events through connection. We are interrelated more than isolated.
