TOPIC 29 EMPLOYMENT AND SOCIAL SECURITY
IMPORTANCE OF EMPLOYMENTS
The fundamental objective of the society is that the inhabitants of the country has the resources it needs to meet your basic or elemental needs
and live a dignified existence, with health services, education, housing,food, clothing and recreation or rest.
Being employed means have a paid job that provides the income that meets the needs.
The purpose of the State is to guarantee employment to its inhabitants. In that sense,
it must ensure that the country's economy grows and remains active.
UNEMPLOYED AND UNDEREMPLOYED
Underemployment is also known as informal employment or informal economy. It is a precarious and unstable job, with low remuneration.
The statistics report about the underemployed, who are extremely poor workers who do not have a permanent job and live "day to day", so they are forced to do any kind of work with extremely low incomes.
EMPLOYMENT AND NATIONAL ECONOMY
In our country, agriculture, forestry, hunting, and
fishing, called the primary sector, is a very important source of employment generation. Almost a third of the population works and lives of the income from that sector
The secondary sector is another one that has grown, and thereby generated employment, it is about the trade, especially small-scale self-employment or informal economy. It has been developed in large and small cities.
The tertiary sector, where tourism, educational and health services are concentrated,is another activity of great generation of occupation.
THE STATISTICS PROVIDE INFORMATION ON THE SITUATION OF
EMPLOYED
Between June 2014 and June 2015, the global employment rate decreases by 0.01 percentage points for women and increases by 0.38 percentage 0.38 percentage points for men.
