Chapter 6 El Subjunctive con conjunciones de tiempo
Subjunctive is used with adverbial conjunctions of time when the verb of the main clause conveys a future time.
When the verb in the main clause is in the past the indicative is used because of the action of the clause already took place.
Past: Ella nos hablo cuando llegamos.
Future: Ella nos hablara cuando lleguemos
Some frequently used adverbial conjunctions of time.
Cuando (when)
hasta que (until)
En cuanto (as soon as)
The conjunction antes de que is an exception. Antes de que is alphas followed by the subjunctive. The imperfect subjunctive is used after antes que.
Ellos saldrán antes de que nosotros lleguemos.
Some verbs state or imply a command, advice, or suggestion. These are followed by the subjunctive it is not CERTAIN.
In Spanish some nouns end in a but are masculine.

Te digo que no llegues tarde. Te dije que no llegaras tarde.
These verbs often take an indirect object pronoun in the main clause.
Subjunctive follows the verbs decor and scriber only when they imply command.
Ella me dice que viene mañana.
Feminie nouns that begin with a stressed a or the silent h followed by stressed a take the masculine definite article el or the indefinite arcticle un.

La mano is irregular. La mano is feminie even if it ends in a "o". La foot is short for la fotografia.
