If we add cultural, ethnic, racial and gender discrimination to this reality, false images will be reproduced that promote the oppression of one group over another. When a person is denied work because of the color of their skin, being indigenous, physically unable to carry out any activity or because of someone’s economic situation, is called discrimination. When migrants and refugees are negatively rated, it is another form of discrimination. Another form of discrimination occurs when we insist on certain physical qualities, temperaments or abilities of someone and at the same time deny their intellectual possibilities.
One of the ways of overcoming discrimination is to promote interculturality.
