She describes him as dignified and mighty as Hercules, and feels anxious for him when he chooses the caskets. When Bassanio chooses the right casket, she feels over excited and joyful to the point she feels sick. She even wants to improve herself to appeal to Bassanio, and without hesitation, gives him the right to her property. She is willing to pay a lot of money and help Bassanio save Antonio from his demise.
