Identify
Students may have different responses to learning difficulties. Below are some of the possible students responses that teachers should be aware of:
:red_flag: Repeated low scores
:red_flag: Lack of attention
:red_flag: Reserved, non participation
:red_flag: Spelling, speech, writing problems
:red_flag: Moving around room, cannot focus
:red_flag: Visible signs of stress

Approach and Interview
Talk to the student.
See if there are any issues he/she may want to discuss. Try to focus on a particular issue the student may be having :

Document and make aware
Document the signs of disability, e.g (test scores, behaviour charts, etc)
Contact school counselor or psychologist who will conduct a series of examinations to determine the nature of the disability.

Communicate
Contact parents
-discuss their awareness
-history of the issue
-attitude towards the issue

Create
Based on information and context received create a teaching
strategy
that best tackles the disabiliy
Some of these can include:
quiet work space :check:
hands on learning :check:
closer scaffolding :check:
repetition

Implement
Discuss this with the student in the correct manner. Help the students understand the nature of the disability.
Monitor
Check in on the students progress and results as time goes on to see if they are responding to the new teaching.
