Each event displays name, date, time, location and if payment is required.
Events are also stated if they go all day, if it's cancelled, if refunds are allowed, the URL link to sign up and an additional URL link containing more information.
Useability Principles
Includes code for retrieving data.
This app allows people to more easily socialise, which reduces loneliness and depression.
Sharing upcoming events allow them to gain free advertisement via social media, which may also increase Brisbane's tourism.
This app showcases numerous events that people can easily sign up for directly from the app, allowing them to easily plan for multiple events in the future.
There are only four key screens within the app: a home screen, one for searching, one for viewing events and one for sharing events. This makes the app focused and easier to learn. (Learnability, Accessibility, Effectiveness)
High colour contrast between text and background allows information to be easily readable. (Accessibility, Effectiveness)
Displaying various pieces of information about events, including applicable prices and where to sign-up help to inform the user about what is required to attend events. (Utility, Accessibility, Effectiveness)
