Hydrology and hydrography
Water contamination
Pollution of the seas and oceans occurs when chemicals, particles, industrial, agricultural and residential wastes are introduced
Groundwater contamination occurs when pollutants are released into the ground or subsoil and then migrate into the aquifer.
The sources of natural pollution are very dispersed and do not cause high concentrations of pollution, except in some very specific places.
Anthropogenic sources are those produced by human activities. Depending on the type of industry, different waste is produced.
Production of rivers and seas
Another cyclical system that intervenes in energy flows is nitrogen. Nitrogenous organic substances are synthesized in green vegetables, forming food for the same plants and animals.
Other elements found in ocean water are phosphorus, calcium, potassium. They also present a cyclical behavior; all of them are synthesized in plants forming organic compounds.
During the photosynthetic process there is a series of cycles of the elements and chemical compounds that intervene in it. These are carbon dioxide, oxygen, nitrogen and other elements such as phosphorus, calcium, potassium, etc..
Oceanic productivity depends on the amount of green vegetables that exist, the availability of organic elements that contain nitrogen, phosphorus, etc., and the abundance of carbon dioxide.
Environmental impact
The causes of species extinction are agricultural practices, the introduction of new species, pollution, hunting and exploitation.
An alternative to minimize the impact is to incorporate environmental management into the business. This being a way of managing the operations of organizations concentrating on critical environmental parameters.
Danger of Extinction. Species have to compete with each other to occupy a place in the ecosystem.
Hydrology is the science that studies the availability and distribution of water on earth
Substance handling
Community awareness regarding many aspects of ecological balance. Leagues and civil associations have been concerned with informing and alerting the public of the dangers.
In the home it is essential not to change the containers of dangerous substances and in general any type of products.
Hydrography is the study of reservoirs or bodies of water, including the properties of the water column; as well as the surface of the basin that contains it.
