Every person is a subject of rights, that is, they have dignity, they cannot be treated or observed as an object, whose needs, interests and claims are recognized. Being an individual with rights is a very fundamental cost since it means that we do not have the possibility of being used as devices for the benefit of other people. Ultimately, being an individual with rights means recognizing that having rights implies that other people also have them. Being an individual with rights implies being aware of the dignity that we possess and that others possess.
