- - - - The Muslims built a trench around Medina to prevent the confederates from attacking. Once the confederates entered the trench they would be shot down by arrows, the battle went with the confederates trying to enter Medina daily, but they kept being shot by arrows
        
        A man named Salman Al Farsi (Salman the Persian) gave the Muslims the idea, it was a tactic that was used in Persia that he remembered.
        
        There was a peace treaty between the Muslims and the Jews in Yathrib. But the Jews in Yathrib were hypocrites, they pretended that they would support Muslims, but as soon as the confederates met with one of the Jewish leaders, they formed an alliance against the Muslims.
        
        The battle continued until a large storm began, the storm lasted long enough to kill all of the confederates' horses and camels started to die. Eventually the confederates ran out of food.
        
        After a full month after the battle began, Allah created a massive storm, and sent angels to destroy the Confederate camp. The confederates retreated and the battle ended.
  - - - In Aya 21-28 Allah (SWT) tells Muslims that the Prophet is the best example of a person for them to follow and strive to be like.
  - - - After the battle of Ahzab, new riches came into Yathrib, and many Muslim men's wives were demanding money from their husbands. The Prophet did not have the money to give his wife, as he left is all for his people. So Allah spoke about how the Prophet's wife is supposed to be an example for others.
        
        There were also problems between men and their wives after the battle
  - - - Allah then revealed these Ayat, explaining what is haram and what is halal in adoption.
        
        The prophet changed his adopted son's last name to Ibn Muhammad (Muhammad's son). But Allah in these ayat, stated that it is haram to change the last name, so he changed it back to his original name.
