An allergic ReactionProvide a brief overview of an Allergic Reaction
- B Cell makes initial contact with the Allergen
- The B Cells becomes a Plasma Cell and releases IgE Antibodies
- The IgE antibodies then bind to the IgE Receptor on the Mast cells
- The IgE Antibodies on the Mast Cell surface make subsequent contact with the Allergen
- As a result, the Mast Cell undergoes degranulation and releases Histamine and other Chemicals
- This results in an Allergic Reaction
