The media reaches the majority of the population. Therefore, they have the ability to
influence on people’s decisions and opinions. Sometimes, people decide to buy a
product just by looking at the promotion of a product on television or listening to it on
the radio. The Media has the capacity to promote cultural, social and educational
values that allow the development of citizens; or, on the contrary, to spread ideals,
habits and customs alien to the national reality and for commercial purposes.
