bioinformatics is the science of storing and analysing large amounts of biological information. It involves many different types of specialists, including biologists, molecular life scientists, computer scientists and mathematicians.The main goals of Bioinformatics are:
(1) to manage data in such a way that it allows easy access to the existing information and to submit new entries as they are produced
(2) to develop technological tools that help analyse biological data
(3) to use these tools to analyse the data and interpret the results
