How did you integrate technologies - software, hardware and online- in this project?
Software
Imove: This was the first editing program I used and was very simple. However it helped me learn the basic skills in editing where i would then at a later date go and enhance these by changing editing program.
Voice memos: I found this app very useful especially for when doing podcasts and any situation where I would only want to record my voice, as the app was very easy to used and the sound quality it captured was of a great standard
Premier Pro: This was the second editing program I used, after I wanted to develop are skills through using a better program where it gave me the opportunity to further enhance my skills through editing. This allowed me to start introduce more complicated edits along with when adding diegetic and non-diegetic sound the outcome of integrating these was of a better standard.
online
Youtube: One again one of the most important software I used, as I had to upload all my videos once edited to this program, however this was very easy to do and made it simple for me to then put any videos from youtube to blogger.
Prezi: I used this program a handful of times to help me create blogs, as i found this simple to use but the final product from this is very professional and easy to understand.
Blogger: A hugely crucial website for my project, as this is where I kept all my blogs documenting my progression throughout the project from the very start till the end when I completed it.
Canva: I didn't use this as much as other programs, but I did a handful of times for various blogs to add a range of different programs.
We transfer: This website was essential especially when I started to make bigger videos which i needed to transfer to say my phone or laptop as without this the process would have been very time consuming and therefor this website I feel made me more productive.
Coggle: I used this for only a few blogs as I do not feel that this website let me show my creativity, however it is very good for writing down information as it is very straight forward to use and understand.
Equipment
Camera: This was crucial especially for the final film, the camera I used was a NikonD3400 and the quality was great especially compared to the camera and also with the various different camera setting this helped my final product have a professional feel. Only slight problem was the cameras mic but I got around this with the phones but the overall camera experience was really good.
Phone: I used my phone a lot during my project from filming blogs, to using it as a mic for some of my final film. There where multiple uses for a phone over the time period of the project and as a result this was one of the most used pieces of equipment, for filming blogs the camera quality was great, although not on the same level as the camera but with the better mic this caused me to use the phone a lot.
Micraphone: We used the cameras mic at first which the results where not the best so we had to adapt to youse are phones mic for half of the work, however when I used the cameras mic for blogs I found it to be okay as when editing afterwards I could make the audio quality and strength better.
Laptop: Almost everything I did revolved around using my laptop, as all the editing programs are on it along with all the vast array of websites I used. So the laptop probably had the most use and importance during the duration of the project
Tripod: This was extremely important when it came to filming as I tried to youse the camera without this on a view shots but simply the results where rubbish, however the tripod transformed this and gave the film a very professional feel with much more stable focused shots.
Car: In the final film this played a big part, and without it, we would of had to of used a different story line as if we got rid of the car are film would not have made sense.
