Tiny House Custom Built Furniture
This loft bed with the stairs going up to it could be good, as it would allow there to be storage underneath but not a full two floors, but rather just one area. There also can be a lot of storage in the stairs, and a bathroom or maybe just the toilet possibly underneath. The kitchenette could be on the other side opposite the stairs.
This under the stair storage could be very good for a storage solution and a good use of space. Making the drawers and storage slide out might also help with securing the stuff inside instead of cubbies. They could also have the toilet next to them under the stairs as them.
Using a fold down desk secured to the wall may make it safer and hold things better, and also saves spacew when folded down, and two of them could be fitted in. It could also have storage placed in the back area, so when its up they can store supplies and computers in there safely.
In addition to the under staircase storage, some steps, mostly the first ones, could fold up with storage under them for less delicate items like shoes or bags or the like. They also make use of area that may have been hollow other wise, and are easy to secure and access. They could have latches, or magnetic closing mechanisms.
A fold-down dining table could be really helpful for the couple's normal meals and could double as extra cooking space for chopping and preparation. It can also mean there is more space, as a dining table can take up a lot of room. Chairs can also just be pulled up, specifically stools, which take less room then normal dining chairs.
The couple specified that they liked and wanted outdoor entertainment space if they could. As there is a plan to make a loft bed, which would create a sort of second level, a balcony could be placed next to it, with a ladder. The balcony could be raised, leaving space to allow for the first floor to have enough height to stand up. There could be fold down stairs on the side to access the roof. For safety, adding railing would be a good idea. The stairs could be near the door.
Having a compact bathroom would be important, and having the toilet next to the cabnet and the shower making up the last corner would make use of a rectangular space would be good, and still have a comfortable bathroom.
With the loft bed, using it as a place for extra storage, with pullout drawers under the bed for clothes and the like would be good for keeping all clothing and accessories in one place would be good.
Having the kitchen under the loft, across from the stairs and then the bathroom on the end is my plan to make sure all the nessacary rooms and elements are there, but there is also room for the offices and living space
The kitchen being one island on the wall, with holes for appliances like an oven, a fridge and a stovetop. As there is a limited supply of water, having a sink instead of a dishwasher may be better. Also have a cabinet of draws above the kitchen would mean more storage would also be important. Having vertical slide out draws as well as horizontal drawers may help save storage, with more space being used. If possible having a slide out pantry would be good, but only if there is room.
Having wall storage and racks can help make use of empty wall space, particularly in places like the kitchen to store tools and things like spices.
Having a living room and space at one end of the trailer is my plan for now, and making sure there is storage in every possibe area is key. Under the couch, shelves next to it and any other space used for drawers would be the idea.
