There were open-air playhouses of cyrcular or polygonal shapes with a yard in the centre
The fourth side was rthe apron-stage/stage for wealthy people, the audience sorrounded the stage, at the back there was the inner stage used for certain scenes, behind it, the tiring house where actors could get changed, above it there was the upper stage, it was a balcony and at the top sat the musicians
