CAUSES
•Mothers with seizures or thyroid problems have a risk of giving birth to a baby with CP.
•Infections during pregnancy.
•Low birth weight
•Birth complications
NURSING
INTERVENTION
•Asssess development milestones to note the accomplished one's as patient withCP has decreased milestones.
•Encourage the patient to ingage in activities in using motor skills to enhance physical development.
• Mainten energy by encouraging the patient to rest between the activities.
• Encourage range of motion exercises to promote movement.
•Administer muscle relaxants, anticholigernics, and anticonvulsants as prescribed by the doctor.

NURSING
INTERVENTION
•Monitor the intake and output of fluid
•Monitor the vital signs and weight to get the baseline data.
• Ensure full fluid suctioning and good drainage during the procedure.
•Assess for the neourological status and any sepsis to avoid complications.
•Measure the head circumference of the patient and observe the fontanelle as well.
• Give oxygen therapy as prescribed to maintain adequate O2 in the body.
