USE 1
the present perfect can show a completed past action
does not show when this action took place
EXAMPLE

The present perfect can also
show continuous action shows an action that started in the past and continues to the present and this action may also continue into the future
EXAMPLE
I have lived in toronto for two years
the present perfect is a verb tense
Regular y irregular verb
IRREGULAR
With irregular verbs the past participle changes to a different form we don't use -ed
EXAMPLE
Eat - Ate -
Eaten
REGULAR
With regular verbs we use the verb + -ed to form the past participle
EXAMPLE
Walk - Walked -
Walked
