Ultrasound is used to confirm the diagnosis :

Pelvic examination is done to determine the extent of fibroids
nursing management and drug therapy
Insert IV line and fluid infusion to give patient energy
Administer analgesia as prescribed to aliveate pain.
Insert catheter to avoid moving up and down as patient is in pain.

Surgery procedures
Uterine artery embolization is also done

It's can be caused by genetics
Endometrial cells are transported from the uterine cavity
There's no distinct pathology of leiomyomas
During menstruation and subsequently become implanted at ectopic sites and develop into small fibroids.

signs and symptoms
Abnormal uterine bleeding
Frequent urination
progressive muscle weakness
Experiencing pain during sexual intercouse
Severe pelvic and abdominal pain
Heavy menstrual bleeding
