Pharmacological management

ACE inhibitors, angiotensin receptor blockers

Beta blocker, and calcium channel blockers

Pharmacological management include thiazide diurectics

Nursing care plan

During acute phase the effort should focus on survival needs and prevention of further complications

Support of respiration

Depends on a patients phase of stroke

Continuous monitoring of vital signs

Careful position of the patient inorder to prevent aspiration

Management of GI problemms
