Defination
Refers to a condition whereby pressure is increased within the eyeball and causing the gradual loss of the sight
Causes
Medication like corticosteroids, high or elevated blood pressure
Poor or reduced blood flow to your optic nerve, and blocked drainage in your eye

Symptoms that ncludes blurred vision, distorted vision

Pathophysiology

Once optic nerve is damaged it fails to carry visual information to the brain and this resulting loss of vision

Evaluate anxiety leve, degree of pain experienced or the suddenness of the symptoms and current knowledge of condition
