Cause - Effect Diagram
Identify many possible causes of an effect or problem and classify the ideas into useful categories.
Flowchart
They show the sequence of steps and the possibilities of branches that exist in a process that transforms one or more inputs into one or more outputs. The flowcharts show the activities, decision points, branches, parallel paths, and the general order of the process.
Stratification
Stratification is a technique used in combination with other data analysis tools.
Verification Sheets
Also known as check sheets, they can be used as a checklist when collecting data.
Pareto chart
Pareto charts are a particular form of a vertical bar chart and are used to identify the few key sources responsible for most of the effects of problems.
Histograms
They are a special form of bar chart and are used to describe the central tendency, spread, and shape of a statistical distribution.
Control Charts or Charts
They are used to determine if a process is stable or has predictable behavior.
Scatter diagrams
They represent ordered pairs (X, Y) and are often called correlation diagrams, as they are intended to explain a change in the dependent variable Y relative to an observed change in the independent variable X.
