Record what you know of the other driver's information: the make, model and colour of their car; their licence plate number, etc. Use the Notes app on your phone, a paper and pen, or make a voice recording. If there are witnesses, get their details. If there's a dispute of some kind, their accounts of the event could be helpful. Take pictures of your car, and of the scene in general. Is there a broken light cover, or paint scratches? Then call and report the accident to the police, and your insurance provider. VERBOSE AND IGNORES PROGRAMMING FACILITY

        A Writ and Statement of Claim, also known as a Form 5A, is a form which outline's the reason why the other party believes they have a claim against you. It should be set out in numbered paragraphs and outline the facts of the complaint, as well as what the other party is claiming from you. When a party files a Writ and Statement of Claim, they become known as the Plaintiff. If you decide to respond, you will become known as the Defendant. You can choose to have a lawyer help you decide whether to respond, or you can represent yourself as a Self Represented Litigant :smiley:.
