A particular day in the life of Bloom's family. At 8 o' clock Leopold Bloom and his wife woke up; during the day Leopold met Stephen Dedalus, which was at a brothel,"adopted" him momentarily and brougth him home.
Meanwhile, Molly was planning an adultery with her music director in the afternoon.
structure
It’s structured in eighteen chapters with different types of narrations. It is also divided into three parts, each one referred to one of the main characters): 1) Stephen Dedalus - 2) Leopold Bloom - 3) Molly Bloom
reference to the Odyssey:
-Main characters and events arranged around Homer' s heroic model:Bloom as Ulysses, Stephen as Thelemachus and Molly as faithful as Penelope.
