Tara was Anna's heir, she had her voice, but not faith

Tara starts to see how strange her father sounds and she questions how she used to believe these things without doubts
The Professor sent Tara the Gates Cambridge Scholarship application
Tara applied and won the scholarship
Tara was on the news, but she couldn't tell anyone she had never gone to school
Tara's parents refuse to go to her graduation
They end up going, but arrive late
After her graduation, Tara goes to Cambridge
At the airport, he dad accompanies her, she see love, fear and loss on his face
My opinion on the characters
Tara's dad: he's close-minded, has strong opinions but thinks he's the only one right
Tara's mom: she may disagree with something, but she goes with it and does nothing to change it (mostly)
Tara: she's started to know herself, have her own opinions and interests, she's more open-minded
Shawn: he's violent and doesn't take in anything if it isn't the way he wants it
Chapter 27: If I Were a Woman
Tara gets into a Cambridge course :
Emily and Shawn's baby is delivered in poor hearth
It takes moths, but the baby is safe
Tara stops getting music lessons
Chapter 28: Pygmalion
Professor Steinberg is supervising Tara's research
Tara wants to study historians
The Professor asks Tara to write an essay
The essay is one of the best ones he's ever read
Tara doesn't feel like she belongs in Cambridge
