- SNouns can be countable or uncountable. Countable nouns can be counted, e.g. an apple, two apples, three apples, etc. Uncountable nouns cannot be counted, e.g. air, rice, water, etc. When you learn a new noun, you should check if it is countable or uncountable and note how it is used in a sentence
4.How to use SOME and ANY in English
In English, some is used for affirmative sentences and to offer or ask for something. We speak of a quantity or a number, it does not matter if it is countable (and plural) or uncountable:
1C.The countable nouns are those elements that can be counted one by one using the numbers. Uncountable nouns are those elements that we cannot count using numbers but we can count using quantifiers or partitives
2.FThe uncountable nouns or nouns are those that we cannot count because we cannot delimit them individually but they are part of a whole. They are treated as singular (you cannot make plurals by adding "-s").
