What is it?
COVID-19 is an infectious disease caused by a newly discovered coronavirus. It was discovered in 2019.
The cause of it?
We don't know the exact source of the cause of covid-19 but we know that it originally came from an animal, likely a bat.
Why is it dangerous?
Most people infected with the COVID-19 virus will experience mild to moderate respiratory illness and recover without requiring special treatment. Older people, and those with underlying medical problems like cardiovascular disease, diabetes, chronic respiratory disease, and cancer are more likely to develop serious illness.
What does it effect
Economically
Many people have lost their jobs or seen their incomes cut.
Unemployment rates have increased across major economies.
Sociality
People stayed at home to be safe. They are not allowed to do activities outside their house, this includes Not meeting friends, online school, no sports etc. Many people got depression because of the pandemic.
