CONCEPT OF INCLUSIVE EDUCATION
CONCEPT- AN EDUCATIONAL PROGRAM FOR STUDENTS WITH SPECIAL NEEDS ATTENDED BY STUDENTS WITH SPECIAL NEEDS TOGETHER WITH OTHER STUDENTS IN THE SAME CLASS IN A GOVERNMENT SCHOOL OR GOVERNMENT AIDED SCHOOL
FULLY INCLUSIVE - Students with Special Needs study full -time alongside mainstream students in all academic subjects based on the national curriculum or the national curriculum that has been modified with or without the assistance of support services
PARTIAL INCLUSIVE - Pupils with Special Needs study alongside mainstream pupils for certain academic subjects only based on the national curriculum or the national curriculum that has been modified with little or no support for support services

Ensure that MBKs have equal rights to study in an environment without barriers
fostering MBK's self-confidence to achieve optimum potential
ensure that MBK is able to adapt to mainstream students to improve their daily living skills
increase awareness and acceptance of school people and the community about the diversity of MBK's capabilities
IMPLEMENTATION OF INCLUSIVE EDUCATION
STUDENT CRITERIA
PASSING ASSESSMENT LEVEL USING INSTRUMENTS DETERMINED BY MOE
MBK AGE ACCORDING TO THE AGE COHORT OF MAINSTREAM STUDENTS OR ADDITIONAL ONE YEAR ONLY FROM THE AGE OF MAINSTREAM STUDENTS
PLACEMENT OF STUDENTS
MAINSTREAM CLASS SIZE LESS THAN 35 PEOPLE
The MBK is assigned no more than five people in each class
MBK is placed in a class equal to their achievements
PPI classes should preferably be on the ground floor of the school building for MBKs who use wheelchairs
MBK placement must obtain permission from the parents in writing
TEACHER
Primary school teachers teaching inclusive classes should only be given training in controlling MBK
Special education teachers help mainstream teachers
TEACHING & LERANING
MBK in PPI learns using the national curriculum
Modification of teaching methods, preparation of materials and
delivery can be done to make it easier for MBK to receive
learning.
medical reports, student profiles, test analysis and performance records are used to plan student instruction
mainstream teachers write RPHs as usual including the specific teaching needs of MBK and individual RPH writing for MBK
SPECIAL EDUCATION TEACHERS AND MAINSTREAM TEACHERS WORK TOGETHER TO PLAN TEACHING AND LEARNING

ASSESSMENT AND EVALUATION OF MBK IS THE SAME AS OTHER STUDENTS IN THE MAINSTREAM IN CURRICULUM AND CO -CURRICULUM ASPECTS
