HISTORY

The Industrial Revolution was a boom in manufacturing and mass production from around 1750-1904. There was also many factories being built and an increase of people inhabited cities.
New Inventions
Steam and Coal Power engines were invented and utilised through out the industrial revolution until fuel power was discovered. Fuel and steam powered machines were mainly boats and ferries until trains came along and made transport even easier.
Electricity was worked on and molded from 1870-1919 and invented things like electric motors and tele grapg cables.

Factories
Urbanisation- is when lots of people from rural areas move into compacted cities to work in factories.
The Spinning Jenny- is a multi spinning yarn machine that made it easier and more efficient to spin yarn. e.g. less people were required to spin mor material.

World War I or 'The Great War' was started because Franz Ferdinand a Dutch prince was assassinated in public causing his uncle to start war with assassins country, thus leading to a big fight using new tactics and trenches.
Tactics and New Weapons

Submarines-invented and used during WWI to go under ships and blow them up. nw they are used for many things like deep sea exploration and ocean warefare.

Machine Guns- in 1884 Hiram Maximum invented the first working machine gun. it changed warfare for good.
