Moses told Joshua to go to battle with his people, while he would go to the top of the mountain and hold up the staff of God. If Moses dropped the staff the Israelites would gain advantage so, he stood with the staff above his head for a whole day. Because of this Joshua won the battle against the Amalekites.

Uriah

Uriah was faithful to David before he was a king. He fought with him since the beginning and when he became king he still fought for him. He wouldn't go home to see his wife because his men are at war.
Elijah

He lived in the wilderness and in caves. He is feed from ravens that God sends. He also was taken up to heaven in a fiery chariot when he died.

Joseph
Joseph rationed out all of the food to the Israelites. He also trusted God and made all the Israelites swear an oath.

David

David is small and weak. Goliath a 7 foot tall man who wore 120 pounds of armor challenged them to a 1v1. No on wanted to die so no one went up to fight him. David then went up with only a slingshot and God's trust. He shot Goliath and when he fell took his sword and chopped off his head.

Adam and Eve
Adam and Eve are tested by God. God tells them that they can eat the fruit from any tree. They just can't eat from the tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil. But they do eat from the tree.
