Whevr he eats anything high in sugar, bacteria tht lives normally, turn these sugars into acids.
these acids - eat away our enamel
when these acid attacks occur often, tooth become fragile and cavities form
Also, enamel on baby teeth is softer.

Oral hygiene?
Diet? Frequent intake
Water? filtered water
Cough syrups?
Toothpaste?
Grazing?
These are some additional things that hv put him at risk of developing decay.
Modifying Risk Factors

Limit the sugar intake
3 main meals + 2 snacks
prefer healthy snacks - cheese, fruits, carrots, nuts
Not swallow toothpaste, spit and
NOT RINSE
Floss every night
Brush 2x daily, supervise another 1 year
Filtered water - makes the tooth hard
X rays
:check:
Teeth - 3 layers, cavities in top layer
some touching nerve of the tooth
Addressing signs and symptoms
Reason for tooth ache?
Sensitivity?
food particles?
Identify he is moderate/ high risk? :red_flag:
Explain him if he is at high risk/ low risk
multiple decays in last one yr - high risk .
We need to work together to bring this down.
