The Self-Less Self
The Path
"Awareness is not the same as thought" -- one need not necessarily identify the self with thought. (Kabat-Zinn) :silhouette:
Loving oneself looks easier after recognizing HOW we love others -- noticing what it feels like to love easily, then extending it to the meditator. (Metta Meditation)
In order to recognize that awareness is always present, one must first begin to notice that the self is generated by thoughts.

The Tao Says: "The softest thing in the universe Overcomes the hardest thing in the universe. That without substance can enter where there is no room. Hence I know the value of non-action."
I find that I do not need to move the conversation, but to merely be present enough to notice the questions that arise naturally.
