NItrogen and water cycle
Water cycle
Atmosphere importance
The atmosphere stores water and in the water cycle, it gets condesed and becomes rain.
-
-
Water from water bodies and rain evaporate due to heat from sun and get stored in the atmosphere as cloud, this water condenses and precipitates, causing more land water and runoff that will again evaporate starting the cycle again.
-
The water cycle basically has 4 stages:-Evaporation, Convection, Precipitation and Collection.

Nitorogen cycle
Nitrogen is most commonly used by legumes like bean plant for growth with the help of few bacteria in the soil.
Nitrogen has a very strong triple bond that most plants and animals break through for their growth so they use different ways to use nitrogen around them.
-
One of the method is when lightning strikes, it turns few nitrogen atoms into NO3, which can be used by plants
Another method is with the help of bacteria living in soil, these bacteria turn nitrogen gas into NH4(Ammonium)
-
When plants die, nitrogen is released in the soil
Few bacteria present in the soil convert nitrate into nitrogen in the absence of oxygen and the nitrogen is released in the atmosphere
