more durable - upto 5 yrs
Since, u are concerned abt the teeth tht hv got black spots.
Once tht hv small decay -we cn restore them with GIC/composite.
How we restore?
:star: remove decay, apply layr of filling,
one at a time,
expose to intense light & harden it.
Deep decay
:fire:
Pulpotomy
Top part (infected) nerve tissue is removed
Dressing applied
filling on top
metal caps - as more chances to break down.
Pulpectomy
Remove the nerve
if roots are not formed,
Close the end of root with a chemical barrier
fill it with the inert material
replace it stainless steel crown - as there are more chances to break.
Extraction
Pull the tooth out
Space maitainer, some of them we would like to keep for 4-5 yrs, othrwise the neighbouring teeth will start moving into tht space
We'll treat these teeth step by step, the one that are sensitive - we'll start off with that ones first and then gradually come to others.
Tooth surface modification
Fissure sealants
Seal the grooves, normal brushing cannot clean them
They can harbour bacteria
Tooth mousse (in high risk)
Varnish
- applying fluoride today, hwever he wont be able to eat for next half an hour
Saliva modification - make sure he is nt dehydrated, drinking plenty of fluids.
Review and monitoring (x rays) :star:

But, the major issue is how we bring this risk down
:warning:
Add investigations in it.
