-REGIONAL CULTURES
A similar reality is that of the “chagras”, who are the rural mestizos of the Andean region.
For example, the peasants of the coast (montuvios) have a very characteristic culture, which is expressed in their way of life, work, entertainment, etc.
In Ecuador, various cultures have developed that settle in the regions, which have their own customs, ways of speaking, cooking, etc.
Each province has its own food, festivities, customs and social organization.

There are, in the country, at least ten indigenous languages of people who have their own ways of life, clothing, customs, etc.
Ecuadorian indigenous people are diverse from mestizos and Afro-Ecuadorians but they are also diverse among them.

Mestizos.
Mestizo cultural values come from Europeans, indigenous people or Afro-Ecuadorians, but in many cases these values are original.
This culture is the product of the European, indigenous and Afro cultural encounter, which has been around for a long time in our history
That is the case with music; for example, the corridor has Spanish and indigenous influences, but in its development it has been something of its own.

-THE NATIONAL CULTURE
Our culture has been influenced by the cultures of other countries, through the media and an active exchange
The identification with our national symbols, such as the flag, the shield and the anthem, but very similar ways of speaking Spanish and our food. Customs such as the "mingas" and the "old years" that belong to the majority of Ecuadorians.
Ecuador is a country of diversity, but it has elements of cultural unity that we all recognize as our own. That is why we say that it is a unity in diversity.
Ecuador is a country of diversity, but also a developed national culture.

-MIGRANT’S DESCENDANTS.
On the other hand, as a way to reproduce Ecuadorian culture in the countries where they live, migrants establish communities to maintain Ecuadorian customs.
From the 19th century and during the first decades of the 20th century, Ecuadorian culture was influenced by European and Asian migrants who settled in different cities of the country.
Ecuador's cultural diversity has also been enriched by the contribution of groups of people who were migrants, since some of them come from Colombia and Peru.
