Schedule regular team brainstorms - Build ongoing brainstorm sessions into the weekly or monthly meeting rhythm. This creates culture of open engagement and ensures your team ideas are valued and gathered.
Build a shared, centralized idea bank - Within our intranet, create an indexable database for the team to add ideas that can be accessed throughout the organization. This will allow the organization to get creative flowing and sharing knowledge and ideas across the board.
Offer positive reinforcement - If a team member suggests an idea that obviously will not work or is irrelevant, do not put them down. If they have great ideas in the future, they may hesitate or refuse to share it. Thus, by offer positive reinforcement, it will help the organization to converge thinking of their employees in the organization since everyone is allow or encourage to express their ideas or thinking.

Personalized drive-thru menus
- McDonald's focused on enhancing customer and staff experiences as the results of facing with increased competition by the other companies to help in maintaining their existing customers and draw back former customers. Besides, in order to improve client experience in the workplace, restaurants learn more towards improving their technology. The company uses the Intelligence technology in its drive-thru machines for the individual menu choices and other aspects, such as time of day and weather, to personalise menus in real time.
Self-service kiosks
- McDonald's has been gradually introducing self-service ordering kiosks and table service into its shops as part of its efforts to "create a better McDonald's." The self-service kiosks enabled them to dramatically revolutionize the customer experience, substantially reduce wait times, and increase the amount of orders their restaurants could process.
- Driving consumers to self-service kiosks also allowed them to re-deploy workers from behind the counter, free up the restaurant area, and drastically cut the amount of cash handled on-site as consumers automatically transitioned to card and contactless payments. McDonald's installs kiosk and mobile order technologies at 1,000 of its locations. International markets like Canada, Australia and the U.K. are already fully integrated with kiosk service and mobile ordering.
