Athletics Day Publication
Environmental Considerations
If a physical record is used, it must be created in an environmentally sustainable way, possibly using recycled materials and being recyclable itself
Digital publications may mean that no environmental waste could be caused, and paper is not wasted through people not wanting the physical record
Stakeholders
Teachers and staff must have an input, as they are likely to be in charge of creating the publication and would determine the appropriateness of the chosen outcome
Parents should have some input as they may also want to read the record or be involved in some way
Students would be one of the main focuses for the outcome, so their wants and needs must be kept in mind
Design
Write-ups and articles about different events or information from the day, created by staff or students running/participating in the athletics
Results may be a useful feature to add, either within sections about their respective events or at the end of the outcome listed or otherwise
Should have pictures of the events where possible, maybe involving captions
School colours, regularly used fonts if applicable, presence of logo, house colours
Issue
This media is likely to be published annually, and its format may allow it to be used for other school events such as a ball, performing arts events, and other major school happenings
Needs to be accessible to all students, staff, and parents/wider school community
A published outcome is needed to write about a school athletics day
Targeted at Whanganui community and possible international students, as a method of promoting the school's success and informing others

Constraints
The outcome should be completed by Term 3. All information and data should already be available as Athletics happened in Term 1, so most time should be spent collecting and designing this
School tools include printing facilities, a website which media may be hosted on, software such as Adobe Suite, student designers
The budget is $0, until costs may arise. This is because school utilities will be used, such as the school printers, software, student helpers, etc.
