THE ASTRONOMY

¿What is the astronomy? Astronomy is a science that seeks to explain everything we observe in the Universe, from comets and planets in our own solar system to distant galaxies and the echoes of the Big Bang. Since then, the study of the stars has also allowed us to understand movement of our own planet

-How astronomy developed:
It can be said that Astronomy was born at the same time that humans were.
Astronomy as a science developed with improvements in the methodology and the scientific process as well as the technology of instruments.

-History of astronomy: Astronomy is the oldest of the natural sciences, dating back to antiquity, with its origins in the religious, mythological, cosmological, calendrical, and astrological beliefs and practices of prehistory. The study of astronomy has received financial and social support from many institutions, especially the Church, which was its largest source of support between the 12th century to the Enlightenment.

Mass is relative. Space and time form a "fabric" with fibers that are deformed by the presence of matter. The light is heavy. An immense amount of energy is contained in one gram of matter. Albert Einstein taught us all this.

Most influential astronomers in history:

Edwin Hubble,

Johannes Kepler.

William Herschel.

Nicolás Copérnico.

Arno Penzias y Robert Wilson.

Tycho Brahe.

Ptolomeo.

Charles Messier.

One of the most important contributions of Galileo to astronomy, were his lunar observations and his research on the movements of our satellite, apart from this he was the first person to propose that the earth was round rather than flat, for which he had quite a few problems with the religion that proposed to everyone that the earth was totally flat
